Somerville

This model is named after a location very near the heart of Boston and where the original Bay State guitars were made. The instrument is based on a design with one unique purpose, i.e., to sound really good in a recording studio. As large as the Millenium is and as thin as the Tremont, the guitar’s balance and articulation are perfect for recording. The instrument is available with or without a cutaway. Although this image is of a rosewood instrument, see here for one made of koa. Its’ deep cutaway gives full access to all 20 frets and is intended for the player who will make use of the entire fretboard. This is truly a recording player’s guitar.
