The Bay State Ditson model is a faithful re-creation of the early 12 fret to the body Dreadnaught guitars designed by C.F. Martin for the Ditson company. Although not an original Bay State creation the model is so closely linked to those of the early 20th century that it had to be reproduced as part of the current Bay State lineup. Look here for a Ditson constructed of Adirondack Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood in the old school tradition.
