Kiley Evans, an up and coming Nashville recording artist has been playing Bay State guitars for the past several years. Recently she asked if we could build her a very special guitar. She wanted the smallest body instrument (Tilton) with a 13 fret to the body neck. She also asked if we could inlay her name in the fretboard and duplicate her scorpion tattoo somewhere on the instrument. So here it is! Her signature is inlaid at the 5th fret. The scorpion is engraved on the pickguard. The guitar is made of Indian Rosewood, Lutz Spruce, Mahogany neck and Ebony fretboard and pyramid bridge. The Bay State Soundring® in Sycamore and abalone shell is integrated beautifully in the design. The 13 fret to the body joint coupled with the Tilton body shape makes a wonderful combination!
